NEDERBURG WINES:
STORYTELLING THROUGH THE SENSES

Nederburg is an award-winning wine that is usually enjoyed during special moments. As a premium wine, each sip of Nederburg offers an unparalleled sensory experience.

We wanted to bring this idea to life with a campaign that focused on the senses: taste, smell, sight, touch and sound.

ON-CON: THE CURIOUS AROMA BOX

The Nederburg Curious Aroma Box contains a set of botanical tubes based on the flavour notes of the Nederburg Winemasters range, as well as a blindfold, and an information card.

Patrons at restaurants are given the Aroma Box at their table along with the wine list. They are instructed to put on the blindfold to heighten their sense of smell.

 

As they work their way through the aroma journey, they are guided toward the best Nederburg Winemasters varietal for their palette. They would then recieve a complimentary glass of the recommended wine.

Through discriptive copy, the print ads seek to make the reader imagine his or her own sensory experience.

 

The three ads tell the story of a musician and painter, as well as a meal inspired by Nederburg.
